Summer 2016 - Liverpool tour the USA.

According to [ame="https://twitter.com/ThisIsMLS/status/668861339192958976"]MLS twitter[/ame] and it ties in with this article

Oh dear, I know we're all working for the Yankee Dollar these days but I really had hoped they'd stick to Europe for next summers friendly tour. Instead the team will visit Boston, Florida (unknown city), San Francisco, and Los Angeles. I'd not be surprised if the LA game was part of some round robin type tournament involving LA Galaxy.

I think it's a great move! I'll have the chance to watch the matches at a decent time (on the West Coast anyway).
    Was muß, das muß.

US tours are wank! Though it'd probably be the same elsewhere, we always seem to go there in tournament years so have a complete mish mash squad till about the last game.

I like it more than a tour of entire Asia and Australia.
        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I'd really like us to avoid these sort of tours, at least in Euros/WC seasons.

Liverpool handed pre-season US Tour boost by England Euro 2016 failure

Three Lions will feature for at least some part of trip to America after early return home following Iceland humiliation

Liverpool’s pre-season preparations have been handed a boost by England’s abject Euro 2016 humiliation.

The Reds’ England contingent are now scheduled to feature for some part of next month’s tour to the United States after the Three Lions were embarrassed 2-1 by Iceland in the last 16 in Nice on Monday night.

Daniel Sturridge, who played the full 90 minutes, was the only Liverpool player to appear in the defeat, which prompted boss Roy Hodgson to tender his resignation minutes after the match.

Sturridge, along with Anfield team-mates Jordan Henderson, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner and Adam Lallana, travel back home today.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has intimated he will give players involved in Euro 2016 at least three weeks off before they return for pre-season training.

And while no decision has yet been taken, it’s certain the quintet will be involved at some stage in the US Tour, with Liverpool taking on Chelsea in Pasadena on July 28, AC Milan in Santa Clara on July 31 and Roma on August 2 in St Louis.

While both Lallana and Sturridge featured in three matches for England, Henderson and Clyne played only against Slovakia while Milner was restricted to an 87th-minute substitute appearance in the group opener against Russia.

Philippe Coutinho, Liverpool’s sole representative at this month’s Copa America in the US, is also slated to return Stateside with the Reds after Brazil’s early elimination from the competition in the group stage.

Welsh duo Joe Allen and Danny Ward, Belgium triumvirate Simon Mignolet, Divock Origi and Christian Benteke and Germany’s Emre Can are all still involved at Euro 2016, which begins the quarter-final stage on Thursday.

On Saturday the squad will be greeted by new fitness coach, Andreas Kornmayer, who will oversee the 7am runs. The work will be extensive and intense during the next six weeks to ensure Liverpool hit the ground at top speed. (Dominic King)

i've seen us on tour twice now and bought no tickets because traveling to see our kids play against olympiakos or whoever doesn't appeal but some of the assumed XI are going to actually play i might consider going to st louis.

How does that work? You've seen without tickets?

not bought tickets to this year's tour because the matches the last two times i saw us were boring.
