Very good performance from us and one i expected as I said in the build up thread. This can be a marker for us to kick on.

Lovren played very well, no nonsense, Sakho played well too. Yes he has a mistake in him but you have to appreciate it's because he's always looking to take the ball down and pick out a pass to get us going, rather than just hoof it out like a grock. I'd much rather a player like that and accept that it brings with it certain risks. Hopefully he can stay fit and keep the partnership with Lovren going cos it has a real chance of being decent for us. Skrtel ****s off and clean sheet arrives, what a coincidence.

Benteke horrendous at the end, wtf!

Awesome defensive display. The first time they've failed to score in the league this season. Thats the defensive potential of this team when everyone is in tune and we dont have to carry a certain clown.

Thoroughly deserved win. Buzzing. Nice finish from Benteke though that was ****ing disgraceful at the end but luckily didnt cost us.

Great win that. Hendo, Can and Lovren top 3 for me it good team display. Hendo was unreal and Can imo was superb. Few dodgy moments from Lovren but a commanding display. Great 3 points that.

I swear, yes he scored the winning goal and yes he started to put himself about a bit, but really, that failure to score could have cost three points.

Otherwise the best game they've played in a while.

Lovren and Sakho not fully fit do seem to have a bit more about them in terms of paying as a unit.
