Good result. Bents need to be burying that injury time chance though.
Leicester resorted to type, conceding possession and offering little, though our defensive errors did cause unnecessary concern on a few occasions. Lovren played well for the most part though (though that heade near the end ), Sakho very shaky again though, and almost cost us a peno......needs to do the simple things first and foremost. Interesting to see him dropping off the line every now and then as well so at least showed the awareness.
Henderson was excellent in the second half, and Can showed his quality on a number of occasions. Especially with Kante looking like an energiser bunny.

Shame it's spurs who are the threat.

Great performance in terms of effort. We outfought them.

Lallana - lot of industry and effort and some clever skills to keep the ball in tight spaces when we recovered the ball in their half.

Firmino - went missing but that was a brilliant assist.

Benteke - good goal but what a miss. Also was completely out of sync with other players on breakaways.

Very good performance by the rest of them.

Lallana should take a fair amount of praise today, worked really hard and helped us keep the ball with his close control and ability

They managed to swindle their way to £500m worth of tax payer assets so blagging 2 extra days doesn't seem too challenging.

Aye, I'm sure Frank The Tank's keyboard will be steaming with the furious typing of salvos of praise.

Just a bit - I could only think of Linekar and King Richard 111 (and he is actually from Northamptonshire)

Apparently this was the 4th clean sheet Lovren and Sakho have kept together out of 6 games
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He might not get Motm often but he always puts a shift in. I like him. If he can add a few goals he'd be quits a player!

As I said above they do seem to link better, and neither keeps dropping off the other. Lets remember Leicester had a free kick and two players were offside, had Skrtel been in that line he'd not have been in the line if you see what I mean!

Sakho kept behind on a number of occasions, especially one time when got caught underneath the ball for their header chance in the first half keeping the play onside, and even dropped off for Leicester's attack in injury time. That said, he done it decently in the second half when Lovren pressed at times..........must not be as noticeable

Even a casual reading of the concentration zones of heatmap draws the same conclusion
