You are still carrying at least 2 passengers in that system because Benteke and Firmino don't work hard enough out of possession and Benteke does **** all in terms of movement

What puzzles me (amongst many other things) is how extreme the differences are in our levels of performance with basically the same group of players.
Maybe someone needs to explain to them that they don't play for each other, they don't play for the manager, they play for the fans that turn up week in and week out and expect to see a team that tries as a minimum requirement.

Its going to take a few transfer windows and a year or so to implement Klopps

Agree 100% and I have full confidence that if he is backed the same as Rodgers was then he will get it right.

But as someone pointed out above, Benteke didn't play against Newcastle and Watford. It's the whole team that needs a good kick up the arse and hopefully Klopp will do just that.

The problem is that not all our good performances have delivered good results and we haven't played well in all the games we have won...

Benteke's goals have got us some wins but they have been ugly wins, so while it may be the case that we don't play well when Benteke plays I don't think we can hide from the fact that he is our top scorer and if you took his goals away we would be in deep trouble, only 2 other players who started today have scored PL goals for us this season (Coutinho and Firmino)

Definitely another rebuilding job. Short term we need a couple of strikers and a goalie. Longer term I'd like us to ship out all the rubbish Rodgers left us with. You just have to wonder what the plan was? A complete bunch of misfits. I hope Klopp can get some of these duffers playing football.

Unbelievable stuff, all that money spent and nobody wants to make a run behind the backline other than the fullbacks.

I'm all for attacking fullbacks but it's not their job alone to do this. How did they not see the sort of problems Origi or Sturridge cause in this way???

It's just too easy for any defence if they know they will pretty much always be goalside of the opposition.

That was one of the things that was really pissing me off, so many people were trying neat little flicks or turns but were really ineffective or anonymous for most of the game. They really need to get stuck in and get the basics right first.

We have bigger problems than Mignolet. Priority should be central midfield and a striker.
