Seems to be doing quite well for Cardiff. Very positive reviews after the last game and seems to be getting better by the game.

I've always liked the looks of Grujic, but just couldn't see where he would fit in under Klopp. Interestingly, he'd been playing DM for Cardiff. I didn’t think he’d have the discipline to play there and he said himself he’d like to play further forward, but he doesn’t sound too dissimilar to Can in that position, so perhaps could play a part for us there next year. Every chance he can help Cardiff to promotion, hopefully make the Serbia World Cup squad and at 22 next year, put himself in a position to push for first team football here.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yup, a bit more flesh on that in the Echo today...

Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is proving a big hit with Championship promotion chasers Cardiff City.

Bluebirds boss Neil Warnock believes the young Serbian, who joined the club on loan last month, has benefited massively from the experience of playing regular first-team football.

“I think he’s got better,” Warnock said.

“He’s not getting caught in possession as much now. He’s realising how quick it is, especially in your own half. If you dwell on the ball in the Championship it’s too late.

“I think he’s got more strengths to his bow. He’s made us play a bit more, he’s got quite good vision and he’s been very good in the air for us as well so he’s growing into it.”

Having largely being restricted to defensive midfield duties so far, Grujic told Cardiff’s official programme that he expects to make a contribution further forward over the coming weeks.

“I’ve had a particular role to play in a few of our games as Millwall and Leeds had some dangerous attacking midfielders to track,” he said.

“I think in future you may see the attacking side of my game a bit more.

“The gaffer knows what I can do and that I don’t have a problem playing different roles so we’ll see what happens in our upcoming games.”
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
      Mine angry and defrauded young?

Quite good in the air. One game recently he apparently won 15/15 aerial battles. I didn't watch the game but I'm not sure I've seen something like that from a midfielder, does the ball land on the grass in the Championship.

Playing him in DM just because he's a big lad is very Warnock. He's much too attacking to play there really. No wonder he struggled initially.

Does anyone know why he wasn't in the Cardiff team yesterday to play Wolves? Injured as well?

BTW, Lee Peltier plays for Cardiff

                          It's probably better than Cardiff.

Echo claim he was benched towards the end because Cardiff would have had to pay more in instalments
