I'm sort of hoping that the more we slag it off the better our chances are that we'll win our next outing in it. It always used to work with Heskey - eventually anyway - I found that if you slagged him off really badly for about 12 weeks he'd go and score a corker.
Well, er, yes, it's hard to fault logic like that.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

my first real liverpool kit was that. I think if memory serves me correct, Nicol scored a header at Highbury from edge of area also wearing it.

Hmm, I thought that was the opening day of the 86/7 season when we won 2-0. I think Aldo got the other.

Anyway, the home version was my first kit too, that was the day I fell in love with LFC

Was that Jan Molby's shirt? It's certainly not flattering for whoever wore it.

It was a real man's game back then. 90 minutes followed by fish and chips, a pack of fags and as much beer as you could drink

Hate the yellow it's ****, might have been okay in the past, but the last 2 yellow kits we've had, have been two of the ugliest ever.

I'd sooner have green than that, and that's saying something.

                  The shirts match our performance.

                  Cowardly.

...which made the impending extra time pretty tough

milan milan off this forum absolutely loves the shirt. I put him in his place regularly. Bring back the classic white and Green of the Ruddock era (not the shambles we have now)

                            If you're talking about this:

                            Or this:

...then you're clearly demented. Unless you're using 'classic' as a euphemism for 'thoroughly revolting, with no discernible redeeming features'.

In which case you're spot on.
