Bit of a risk in a must win game.

Ward was not named in the squad for the first match so cannot play the replay, likewise Caulker.

You know what though, if Flanagan could get fitness back and somehow find his old form as well before the end of the season, then it could save the club a few million in the transfer market during the summer.

I would fancy a 2013/14 flanno over a 2015/16 moreno at left back.

I also think Moreno could be used further up the pitch. Someone on here made a suggestion that Moreno could "do a Gareth Bale" and become a top class winger. I don't think Moreno could become one of the top 5 players in the world (although to be honest, there was a time when Gareth Bale rejected a £3.5m move to Birmingham City to stay and fight for his Spurs place!" but if Klopp wanted to play with wide players high up the pitch, then Moreno could be a useful option.
you quick draw ****er, changed now

I would be putting a fit Flanno straight into that LB spot ahead of Moreno, Flanno will get forward too. Yeah I agree Moreno should only be used in an attacking capacity, could be a great outlet on the left if he learned to cross the ball.

think it was me who mentioned the Gareth Bale thing, the comparison was tongue in cheek but I just meant from the point of view of getting a guy that can't defend away from defensive areas & playing him in a role that suits his naturally progressive game. Moreno on the left side of an attacking midfield, IMO is a much better option

          I see.

I'm pretty much stinking this thread out, having previously lobbied for the similarly ineligible Caulker to get handed a shirt.
          Modifying post.

Why not go for the hattrick and suggest Texeira?

I'd love to see Flanno back. Good to have a local lad on the pitch. It's been a nightmare for him.

                      Bad News gives the following

#LFC Probable Line-Up vs Exeter: Mignolet, Randall, Ilori, Enrique, Smith, Brannagan, Stewart, R Kent, Teixeira, S Ojo, Benteke. (Barrett)"
though quite how he'd know is another matter, it looks about right but hopefully Allen starts.

Surely Allen or Chiri starts ahead of Stewart. He is rubbish!

Actually thought Stewart was one of the better ones in the 1st game.

I thought he was a total plodder. Couldn't hit a pass at all and was just breaking even in the tackles too.

Granted the pitch didn't help any of our lot.

I feel sorry for Allen, he seems to be getting fewer chances than others but when he has had them he's done pretty well under Klopp (he even scored a goal which most of our midfielders seem incapable of). Definitely deserves a chance to shine against Exeter.

He'd be a much better prospect on the Anfield turf rather than the fallow field of Exeter.
