    [COC] Stoke (H): Build Up

    Kick Off - Tuesday 26th January 2015, 7:45pm GMT
    Venue - Anfield
Competition- Capital One Cup Semi Final Leg 2
Television- Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD
Leg 1 result - Stoke City 0-1 Liverpool

Away Goal Rules - Away goals will only count at the end of extra time.

    One game from Wembley.

After the drama against Norwich, this will show which players have the mental capacity to deal with the emotion and pressure every few days.

Stoke will know our worst enemy - set pieces. They can win this game on them alone, and Klopp basically said yesterday that teams don't need to do anything, just put it in the box and we'll do the rest.

We need the crowd to step up and make sure the Stoke players **** themselves. A cup final for these players and Klopp would be immense.

    Get us there lads.

I was thinking about this the other day.....if stoke could stick crouch walters and arnoutivic in the team and have shaquiri whipping in crosses, then we will concede ateast 3 goals. I think if they need to at the end of the game then that is what we could see hughes doing.

We are so ****e at defending crosses and corners - probably because we have nobody to whip in a good corner in training to practice defending from them!!! Seriously ****e...

That said, if firmino can have chances created for him, then you would fancy him to do something positive too.

    Should be a good game

        Drop Can, play Allan
        Drop Kolo - Play Caulker
        Drop Mig - Play Ward

I'd put Smith in with Moreno

If Shawcross fit play Benteke for 70 mins and see if he can do something
I make no apologies, this is me

Is that possible having not been registered for the first leg of the tie? Suspect not.

Certainly Anfield will be up for this game I think

Pity Flanno isn't really up to speed though he could come on again a la Exeter. But you'd have to expect Clyne, Sakho, Firmino, Lallana, Ibe, Allen, Hendo one of Can/Lucas/Milner.

would it not be easier if we played without a keeper ?come to think of it without a defence as well

And if we concede a corner we can ask Stoke if they'd prefer a penalty?
              Modifying post.

Go with the strongest team possible ... we need silverware, I'll happily take Klopp winning any trophy in his first season as a good omen

Kolo was a monster in the first leg and is a winner, exactly what we need in the squad, no way we drop him.

Plus let's not forget Caulkers last game in the competition.

I personally would start with the same team against Norwich, with the exception of Lallana coming in, and I'd even consider Allen for Can
The times they are a changin'.

Definitely need Ibe to play on the left and Lallana on the right.

hmm, decent tactics, nearly won us the title.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Here's my team for the game:

                            Ward
                            Clyne - Kolo - Sakho - Smith
                            Hendo(c) - Allen - Lucas
                            Milner - Bobby F - Ibe

Stick Lovren in for Toure if he's fit.
