Its our midfield that worries me, our defence gets **** all protection and our forwards get **** all support. Because they're not at vital ends of the pitch they get overlooked. It is seriously the worst midfield I've seen us have, in terms of quality on the ball and passing, the players just aren't good enough.

I think it's fair to say we've got our game plan wrong. Stoke rode the first ten minutes of pressure and then grew into the game; they've been clever in their passing, created more chances and had more of the ball. We've not been wishing a whisker of their box and have been reduced to speculative efforts from range.

A few tweaks and a big improvement needed.

I think we've pressed well without really exerting pressure. It's almost as if we've been containing Stoke and hoping for a goal rather than attacking them directly. We should come out and attack them second half.

Firmino and Lallana have been working really well in containing them for me. Now we need to turn this pressure into possession and good football.

Milner and Henderson need to do much more, I wouldn't be surprised to see Allen at some point.
