I think our players know how to have a good time, but they're probably tired footballing wise, and also, a lack of top quality means we don't look very good on the pitch.

Didn't we have zero shots on target until extra time?

They're definitely not that good. But its fair to say some of them are tired, Can has played almost every game it seems, its his first proper stint in midfield too.

Obvious reasons why both Kolo and Flanagan would have been knackered tonight too.

I think statistics show clearly that we have played the most games in Europe this season, surely that counts for something, plus the injuries we've had. Flanagan and Kolo are not fit enough and I think Henderson is still not fit either. We're missing Coutinho, Skrtel, Lovren, Origi, Ings, Gomez and Sturridge, and we've had a change of manager, I think it's a very good achievement to have reached the final considering everything.

Agreed, weatherman. Last night was Klopp's 25th game! And Spurs away was only mid October, crazy. Leicester for example have only played 28 games all season! Nice as a fan but a bit **** for a new manager trying to implement ideas on the guys, all we do is play and recover by the sound of it. Still, getting to finals along the way is nice! I don't see us losing a game next season in any competition after a good pre season.

Hendo has had decent seasons and I remember we rued the day he got sent off against Citeh as that, together with the Gerrard slip, was the reason we didn't win the league.

He just had a woeful game. An it was absolute turd, so no wonder he was hooked off. With decent players around him, more energy and not so many fixtures - we'll see the best of im again, I'm sure.

One thing that still concerns me is the amount of times we play the ball backwards

We play it forward and players have time and space to turn and run at the opposition yet choose to pass backwards

Cant decide if this is a leftover from Brendan and players low on confidence (or both) but we need to stop it

Players need to show a bit of bottle and take responsibility because if they dont they almost certainly wont be here next season
