Defence is no worse really that the first 11. Attack is OK, and maybe with Teix and Ibe will create their own chances. But midfield weak, so there'll not be much protection for the back 4 or much controlled supply to the front 3. Thought Ojo might have got the nod, with Ibe playing a bit deeper.

Baptism of fire for the young lads, exciting, hope Ojo gets some mins as well.

Tough game for our young team with West Ham at full strength, but I'm sure they'll be sufficiently motivated.

                        C'mon reds!

Shame Ward didn't start but interesting team.

WH will be confident, but keep Payet quiet and we should win.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yup pity for Ward, being dragged away from first team football and not getting a game in the cup for us.
