Well, we obviously need other players as well. But I think Kante is outstanding. He'd walk into our midfield and be the best player. He dominates the game for them lets Mahrez do the pretty stuff and Vardy score the goals but Kante fights and wins the wars.

It's funny all the comments like these in the "Klopp must do better" posts. We are in a cup final and mid table, isnt that pretty good / par for the worst players we've ever had?

I think our legs have gone. We're playing the most number of games in Europe at the moment with most of our strikers and creativity injured.

Not sure why Brannagan, Ojo and Texeira don't feature more.

They're nothing players in the context of pushing for the top end of the Premier League.

Jordan Henderson is LFC club captain. A half decent player for Sunderland. Has there ever been a more mediocre club captain than that? The squad has nobody who has won anything in it (apart from Milner) and apart from a few long servants our first team is made up almost entirely of players who had less than one good season in the PL or LL. There's no chance of any manager challenging with this side despite our Leicester style season in 2013–14. If the owners give Klopp free reign in the summer we might stand a chance of improving significantly. If it's more of the same then the appointment of Klopp was a waste of time.

This time next year... he's had (next to) no new players in, loads on injuries, a fixture pile-up and an introduction to the infamous transfer committee.

Give him some decent money, a transfer window or two and I'm sure we'll see a plan, a system, better mentality and a better goal difference.

This squad of players, youngsters aside, is just ****ing awful.
