We really needed to bring someone in in the January transfer who would have offered a goal threat even if it were only a loan deal.

that happens with strikers, can go through a run of games not scoring but they need to keep playing. The rest of the team (bar Firmino) have shown they can't ****ing finish!

A striker who doesnt get into the box often enough and doesnt attack the ball when it is played into the box wont score goals (as is proven recently)

I'm bitter and petty but them winning it would just remind me of how we came up short a couple of years ago... and I want life to be unfair for everyone

But obviously it would be an amazing thing for them to win it and show everyone up after spending a ****load of money for nothing.

Unfortunately I can see them doing what we did in 2013-14, being in it right up to the end and the one mistake or decision costing them and allowing City/Arsenal in to win it.

We brought in a limited centre back as cover on loan, we should have done similar with a striker. There must be a striker in Europe not getting games, who fits our style and has an eye on the Euros.

No confidence to try a one touch pass into space or even feet. We stop and look backwards by which time, they've recovered their shape and we have nowhere to pass to so we **** about.

Leicester on the other hand, quickly played forward and found their man. A consequence of training and knowing each other's game but also of confidence.

I wouldn't mind this if we cost a few million quid to assemble like Bournemouth but our squad should be as good as Barcelona considering the money involved.

I agree, but only slightly. We need a lot of players, getting one or two in January would've been the sensible thing to do.

It could go one of two ways at City, players pushing themselves to impress Guardiola or they implode because Pellegrini is about to leave.
