Yes and no. In a nostalgic old fashioned world you support your team though thick and thin, come what may. That world or the football world has changed. It's all about the money, winning trophies is secondary to making profit, the players don't give a **** about the fans they up sticks and leave at the first hint of trouble. They are on so much there is little to connect them to the fans, they move in different circles, the majority are grade a cunts you would like to see suffer in any normal walk of life. Football is rarely exciting, it's had it's day and is on the downward spiral. Sky and money have killed what was so great about the game over here. It's never coming back.

If you want to hang on in there and keep supporting them come what may, good luck to you. With each passing year you will find yourself surrounded by more and more idiots more interested in their phones than the game itself, people who claim to support the team yet couldn't recall large parts of our history. People who don't get upset for a week when we lose, people who will be wearing the latest kit or a silly hat.

I'm approaching 40, I don't want to wait forever. I'd take the richest mother ****er in the world with the morals of Charlie Sheen spending all the money of several African nations on the best players if it got us the title. I don't care where the money comes from. Would it be hollow? Yes, but I'm past caring. The games corrupt it's broken, it's ****ed up. I wish it wasn't, but it is.

I used to know off by heart, the trophies we won the years the scores, the players. I'd watch as much as I could. I wouldn't sleep before a big match, I'd be gutted for weeks after a loss. I'd argue god toss with opposing fans till it came to blows. For what? What a waste of time, energy and effort.

A far better campaign would be to stop buying product during matchday. Boycott the food and drink stands, don't buy a programme, don't buy anything from the club shop. That will send a message without impacting on the players' performance.
One game compared to the soul of our club. There's a much bigger picture here.

I think there's stuff about a boycott being the next step coming out. I think a strategy is to have protests on a broad spectrum.

The players were more than happy to not turn up against Leicester, so it's not as though fans being present made a difference.

I bet your enthusiasm comes back if we make a few cracking signings during the close season

I get the statement but surely supporting the lads on the pitch for the full 90 mins is more important. Ticket prices aren't their fault...
Someone on twitter (I forget who) suggested that the owners raise the ticket prices to £94.

What's wrong with Charlie Sheen's morals? He's my idol.

What would be funny is if the players stopped playing at 77 mins and walked off.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

The club could lessen the impact of the protest & make it look like it is all about something else by subbing on big Chris Tekkers on 69minutes 45 seconds.
