        Some changes shouldn't make too much difference but if Firmino for example is benched here then starts the nothing game v Villa on the weekend it'll be a bit annoying! Unless we win anyway then all is forgiven!

              As Ward hasn't played in any round to date, I doubt he'll get a start. If we go one-nil down to the first shot in anger though... I'd sub Mignolet immediately and make the point crystal clear.

                Ward wasn't here for the original 3rd round game, which made him ineligible for the replay, so he's only not been picked for 1 game (West Ham original game).
                The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  I'd love to see how Tex, Smith, Ojo and Brandogan play with Firmino up top instead of Benderteke. Guess we won't find out.

                          Ward is eligible to play now. The FA rules meant he couldn't play in the 3rd round or the 3rd round replay. For some reason we chose not to play him in the 4th round against West Ham, so we could play him in this if we wanted. He should be in the match day squad and I would pick him ahead of Mignolet after the weekend's display.

                                What's Ward like at coming out to collect crosses and set pieces? We desperately lack a commanding keeper, one that actually has a voice to help our CB's.
