IIRC it was Mark Hughes who came down harsh on Stoke players in training - no hats/beanies, gloves, leggings, snoods, etc...

His view was something like '...you're training for a game on [insert day of week] in which you wear your kit and that's it. So you should train in what you wear for the game.'

Fair play to him, the crazy Welsh wizard.
