Well deserved after a couple of decent performances. Can Kolo get one as well please?

"Kevin Stewart will be out for 4 to 5 weeks with ankle ligament damage" says Pearce, well that's just soooooooooooooo Liverpool!

The new contract will preserve his value, will he stay beyond the summer though....

The timing of Stewart's ankle injury was unfortunate, coming just days after his league bow. But he has been back outside at Melwood this week, and says he is hopeful of being back in action soon.

"It's going really well," he said.

"I didn't expect it to get better so quick but I've been out on the pitch for about a week now doing some running and passing.

"So it's gone a lot quicker than expected."

So if you're injured, you're not allowed back into Melwood then ha ha!?

Pretty tidy, only one howler pass but you could at least see what he was attempting

Surprised this wasn't bumped sooner. His transformation since being released by Spurs is almost Leicester like. I've been very impressed with him under Kopp.

He looks very comfortable, a good squad option for sure. What of Chiravella, Rossitter and Brannagan?

IMO his transformation is more about being the right man in the right place at the right time, Rodgers didn't see anything in him and neither did Spurs, but that was as a full back, when he played in CM in an emergency the staff took note. I think there are loads of players whose potential is only half filled because they are not using their skill set in the right way or the staff doesn't guide them the right way. Stewart was lucky that we took him on and that covered in the CM position, he could have ended up in League 2 playing right back.

He's been more consistent than Can and Henderson when's he's been called on. Albeit with a smaller sandbox of games.

Its easy to be consistent for 4 games. Its much harder to do it all season. Its not really a fair comparison.

That being said when called on he has been decent.
                            *Except Michael, who died.

He reminds a bit of Dembele in the way he plays but nowhere near as dynamic as Dembele but he can improve on this going forward.
