I'm becoming completely desensitised to losing. Wish we could fast forward to next season asap.

A few years ago a friend of mine who's a Villa fan said to me "you don't know what it's like to know your season is over after 12 games".Originally posted by tanner View PostI'm becoming completely desensitised to losing. Wish we could fast forward to next season asap.
There's also the Grimsby fan at work who when I complain about drawing with Stoke tells me how they got beat at the weekend by Barrow in front of a crowd of 300. And he was there.
I'm not quite in that place yet but it's a lesson in empathy.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

We did enough to win it. Missing umpteen chances gave them hope. It's ****e to have gone through all that ET to blow it in the last minute. The whole tournament has been great for the young team though.Modifying post.

I just don't think he's good enoughOriginally posted by Deano View PostA confident Benteke and we won have won - That said, he played well, far worse on that pitch
He got the service tonight and missed some great chances
To me he still doesn't get in the box enough
I don't think it's confidence just lack of abilityBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

He's got the ability but he needs work on the pitch. He's technically good enough but does not find space on the pitch naturally. A full pre season of training with a proper forward coach and he'll be better, especially if he plays in a front two or three.Originally posted by Lecter View PostI just don't think he's good enough
