Thanjk you.

For a little fella (of slight build due to age) he was putting himself about a bit. Played quick, simple balls about, helped midfield shape and generally was closing down well too. He had a good game.
I was going to start a thread for Joao Carlos Teixeria but it seemed a bit indulgent clearly I was wrong!
Pedro Chirivella (to spell his name correctly) was very good in tandem with Stewart but if Brannagan was fit he'd not have played at all last night. So he was lucky in that regard - took his chance well.
Never really impressed me since he had that growth spurt (he was better when he was 4'0"). But over the last two games I've changed my mind, his lack of pace was not a worry playing against a pacy team like Wham.
Tired in the second half and did disappear for 20 odd minutes, but Klopp's substitutions ruined our shape and therefore his threat as he was found having to cover the whole of midfield with Stewart.
Definitely would like to see him start a league game or two, but I'll probably get shot down by forumites on here for "destroying his confidence" by suggesting such heresy.
a few stray passes early on, but then grew ino the game. nice first touch, can spot a pass and has the guts to take the ball of our defenders. basically has everything our 1st team mids don't have
I am surprised people are talking so much about Ilori and Stewart. I thought he was the stand out player. He was excellent at keeping the ball and got himself out of some sticky situations. Also, when you see him he strikes you as being a lightweight player, but he won the ball on numerous occasions.

Had a good game, looks like he has good understanding of his role and technically he appeared to be excellent.

I thought he played at a similar level to Ilori and Stewart, personally I thought the other two slightly edged it, but Chirivella is about 4 years younger than them, so much less experienced. I guess that this means he could potentially be the better long term prospect, if we get a suitable development program for him.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
