I missed the game. How does the Klopp song go?

Fantastic win today. Although they were atrocious, scoring 6 is always great.

Sturridge, Coutinho and Firmino were great to watch, looking forward to seeing more of that in the coming weeks.

Looking at Soccerbase they all appeared to play against Norwich in September but it looks like Sturridge came off 9 minutes before Firmino came on.

So yes. The first time they have all been on the pitch at the same time
              Football without Origi is nothing

One of the best teams in the league when the players are fit. Aston Villa or not. Apart from the issues in defence (which will get better) all the talk of Liverpools players being not good enough is wrong

two of the front three are the same as when we tore up the league. And the other looks like he is A) finding his feet, B) **** hot.

In Origi we have Sturridge light, and he will only get better over time. Throw in some luck on the injury front, and things start to look a lot brighter.

He really does. Them passes for Can and Clyne's goals were great, his vision and awareness of others is ****ing insane.

                        From the BBC's match report:

The stats you need to know

Daniel Sturridge has the best minutes per goal ratio of any Liverpool player in Premier League history (118 mins per goal).

James Milner has now scored in 40 different Premier League matches and never lost - only Darius Vassell (46 games) has a superior record to this in the competition.

Divock Origi scored just 37 seconds after coming on as a substitute in this match - the fastest goal by a substitute in the Premier League in 2015-16.

This was the first time that Liverpool have had six different scorers in a single Premier League match.

This was the eighth 6-0 away win in Premier League history - four of those have been wins for Liverpool.

That last one had me raising my eyebrows. I think we beat Newcastle 2 or 3 seasons ago at their place 6-0

I hate stats like that - you know it's going to end badly in a game that really matters (Rush v Arsenal in the League cup final comes to mind).

It's easy to think that Villa being so bad was the reason for the result and it certainly contributed, but we have been improving on recent weeks and have just been missing a goal threat and movement up front. Sturridge and Origi to a lesser extent, coming back have now allowed us to offer some of that and it showed today. Add Coutinho to that and the team suddenly looks a hell of a lot better than it has for a while. Other games will be tougher but this should give us a confidence boost.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yep, agreed, Villa being bad wasn't the only reason we won AND have the bonus of wearing the same underwear to work tomorrow. Had Coutinho, Studge and Origi not returned from injury I'm pretty sure Villa would have undeservedly won 1-0 after 90 minutes of crab like passing from us. Or at best a draw.
                              One tit for another.
