this crowd are 14th in an 18 team division. Also, their home league form isn't amazing.

It would be great to bring a good lead back to Anfield with us.....and therefore allowing us to hopefully rest some players at the home leg for the CapOne cup final which will be 2½ days later.

With that in mind, I would play the same team that started against Villa - with maybe Lucas in place of Kolo if he isn't 100%.

      Mig
      Clyne Kolo Sakho Moreno
      Milner Henderson Can
      Firmino Coutinho
      Sturridge

      Easy.
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I can't even blame my keyboard, as the 'E' and the 'U' aren't near each other.

Mods, if you'd be so kind and correct my error.

I would do ot the other way round. Dry bum them in the first leg and then play the kids in the second leg. That way there is around 10 days to the Citeh game

Play the FA Cup team in the home match.

I'm fairly sure I seen it in another thread, but can't remember the content. Who else have we registered for this part of the competition?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Going out of the FA Cup might be a blessing for the Europa.

No game at the weekend. So 10 days to think about Augsburg. Then the League Cup final.

Its the best shot of getting into the Champions League, so we need to take it seriously and with a fit and firing Sturridge. We have a good a chance as any.

We're playing Augsburg this Thursday, and next Thursday, with Man City in the League Cup Final 3 days later, so there's no 10 day break, unless we field a weakened team in one of the games.

Not what I said is it?

10 days to 'think' about them. Rather than stop start with the FA Cup and League distractions

                              Semantics.
