Our record against these sods from 2011/12 onwards:

        League...... P 10 W 2 D 1 L 7 F 10 A 16
        FA Cup...... P 01 W 1 D 0 L 0 F 02 A 01
        League Cup P 01 W 0 D 0 L 1 F 00 A 01
        --------------------------------------
        Totals........P 12 W 3 D 1 L 8 F 12 A 18
        --------------------------------------

We've also lost all 4 league games while they've had LVG as manager

Very hard to be optimistic when we've been so consistently lame against this revolting football club over the last 5 seasons.

Yeah we've been poor and yet still some fans actively want us to meet them in cup finals and the like.

I'm happy enough with this as there is no danger if this game somehow not mattering! Also as the league is dead to us everything can be aimed at this tie once the Cup final is over. Make sure to just keep Sturridge ticking over until he 10th of March. Play Origi in the league.

Between them Liverpool and Man Utd have played nearly 700 games in European comps, amazing that its taken so long to meet!

TBF Rodgers didn't do well against the big clubs in general, Klopp has only had one game against them, wasn't that without all the attacking players? And IIRC we didn't do so bad against them? If we don't get anymore injuries I think we stand at least the same chance in the tie.
                        * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

6pm's in England are ****ing wank. 75k people in Manchester rush hour going to the game, great. At least Anfield is the 8.05pm one.

Always prefer the second leg at home.

But excited for this one. Hopefully we completely blitz the ****houses.

we will need a lead going into the second leg alright. But I think we will have one too.

They are a little bit like us a good few years ago.....they are likely to raise their game big time when they play us but then **** up the FA Cup game against West Ham.

It would actually be handy for us if they did okay in the league over the next 2 weeks and think that they can finish in the top 4. Because if they have City in the league after us, then he might rest one or two of his top players.....

I would ****in love if we hammered them though. They've been such lucky fockers these last few years, that it would be great if we really really spanked them. Klopp running up and down the touchline of Old Trafford would be a joy to see......

Free weekend for us in between both games and they have the HAmmers in the cup.
Yep, we'd batter them if healthy. I'm expecting the worst now though, City played them without Aguero and Silva, we played them twice without Sturridge and Coutinho. It's a joke how it always falls for them. Still, they have an injury to their one good player, I'm sure he'll be back for us though!

Draw could really open up if we get through, Napoli gone, one of Spurs/Dortmund gone, Manc's gone. Hopefully theres an upset or two elsewhere, the fella's on here who pretend to watch Basel on weekend's seem to think Embolo is boss so hope they can do Sevilla.
