Where was Milner and Henderson for the pens? Should have been 2 & 3 imo. Gutted man as this team is going to win the EL and languishing down in 9th. Klopps going to build a team alright and I don't think any of the players on the pitch today will be part of it.

Gutted, absolutely gutted.

Done well to get to penos as they really should have been out of sight. Knew Lallana would miss, ****ing knew it.

We worked hard but there are so many players that need to be replaced or bench come next season. I thought Lucas was absolutely sensational, gutted for him to miss the peno. Clyne was excellent too & although Mig makes a howler in every game... we would have been 4 down only for him.

This season is a write off. ****ing devastated

We made a game of it. Their quality showed in places, but we we were kept in it by Mignolet who was responsible for conceding the only goal they could score, so I can't get my head around it.

Sturridge is equally responsible for being our greatest threat and for slowing our attack down. He made the wrong choice on many an occasion and seemed hell-bent on making this about him.

Can't complain about losing on penalties, it's a lottery.

Penalty takers need to look at themselves. Some were way too cocky.
Still, angst put aside, I did expected us to lose in normal time, so I guess we outperformed but still gutted.
