yeah they were much the better side to be fair. First half was even stevens but apart from a 5 min spell in the second half on extra time... they really took the game to us. **** finishing from Raheem & some great saves from Mig stopped it from being 3 or 4.

Pens is anyones game but yeah they deserved to win, no complaints

      THIS. ALWAYS THIS

Hendo ... good egg .. Lucas .. Quite Leader ... but a leader non the less Hendo will never be a leader of men .. he will be a man who would like to lead men . but ultimately it boils down to a calmness and very subtle signal .. its ok we got this .... Hendo does not have that ... this Summer we need changess .. Hendo has to loose the captaincy if he is ok with that great .. if not .. bye

Have you read Superfreakanomics? Statistics say you shoot down the middle, more chance of scoring.

        Worth a read.

I thought we were ****ing awful for most of that and did well to make a game of it. The amount of space they were getting down our left because Moreno was somewhere else was criminal.

At the end of the day we're hovering around mid table for a very good reason and nothing is going to change without a massive change of personnel.

They fought hard at the end, and with this bunch that's all you can ask for.

Hendersons mediocrity is such a massive issue. Been saying it for ages but falling on deaf ears. I think it was clear for all to see today.

              Milner is the same.

Henderson is really off the boil, the gung-ho, dynamic midfielder has been replaced with a bit of a plodder. I hope it's the injury and he can get back to what he used to do so well.

Wasn't that excited before the match and feel that winning would have masked a lot of our problems, ie the worrying lack of foresight from Klopp about how poor Hendo, Milner and Can are. Specially together. That's why next season excites and scares me in equal measure.

Our youngsters got us this far and our youngsters coupled with Coutinho and Sturridge would have walked this final. Klopp couldn't see that and that's my fear.

                      Replacing Gerrard with Henderson.

That's 3 games on the bounce we've lost at Wembley now. Horrible feeling but last seasons semi final was as bad as it gets. Losing a shootout is **** but that semi final last season was much much worse.

                        Behave your sen.

A youthful, inexperienced midfield would have got walked over by City's £100m midfield. Yes, our midfield raises massive questions but the answer is not our reserves.

Moreno's flick at Aguero whilst not even looking at the ball, whilst in the penalty box!

                          **** my life.

You really are a prize prick.

This team is very mediocre, until they change personnel, I'm afraid its rinse and repeat.

Think we'll be looking for a left back in the summer. Not the first time Klopp has hooked Moreno for his brain farts.

I know Klopp said bringing in 7 players sounds a lot, but I think it'll dawn on him that's the number of players we probably need (Grujic and Matip included, so 5 more).

Firmino is looking like an enigma to me. He's a hot and cold player, and he didn't shine today. Henderson was bang average. Lucas was awesome, and Can, Kolo, and Mignolet (post error) were good. Milner did well, as did Origi and Lallana.
