I'd keep Lucas & Couts. Studge if fit. Derek gets a go. Rest can do one.
    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Honestly, we are a bir ****ed, the nonsense in the last few years has left us with such a **** squad at such a high cost that it's probably a record. Hope we see some changes in the summer, lot's of them needed.

We just did this in the pub...

Next year get rid of - Mignolet, Moreno, Skrtel, Milner, Benteke, Lallana
Buy - new keeper, Awesome CM who scores goals, winger and striker (to add to Grujic and Matip who are already coming).
Play Lucas at CB and make him captain.
Give Markovic a chance to come back
        Sorted.

We're the anti-early-Rafa team. Then we had a few world class players but not quite the squad. Now we have lots of adequate squad players, especially with the young players coming through, but need the quality right up the spine.

That's a whole lot of a spine needed and an entirely new left side required.
Were all disappointed right now but there are some fundamental problems with our team. What you've put there is exactly the same for me but Sturridge up front.

Into those blanks you would want to see tomo horn or ter stegen as the gk, matip will probably come in next to sakho and we have been linked with Jonas hector who's a very solid left back - in the Steve finnan mould.

Midfield needs another look, Henderson is fine and what he does he does really well. The lad next to hendo is the key - emre can is too similar to Henderson and neither is an incisive passer of the ball. Someone like Gundogan or xhaka would be my preference for that spot next to hendo - probably xhaka.

The three behind the one needs pace and width. We have goals and creativity in Coutinho and firmino but we need someone who can go past a fullback and open up defences. Markovic will come back but I don't think he's quite at that level yet. Woody would be a good choice or Leroy sane.

Sturridge is fine up front. Initially I thought we would buy a striker but I don't think we will. Klopp said firmino can play as a 9 and I think that leaves a spot open for gotze.

Its a squad game and the team will be changed to suit the opposition/game but there are definitely some who should leave over the summer. I think were headed for our busiest window ever.

This is happening, make no mistake.

There are so many other things for kids to get interested in - they'll go along with it because up to a certain point kids love their parents and will do anything to please them, but come teenage years, the wealth and variety of things to be interested is much greater than it used to be, and kids that age like to go their own way and make their own choices.

              Football is complacent.

i agree about the similarities with henderson, can and to some extent milner too.
out of the two i would want to keep can over henderson. i think henderson has too many injury issues to ever be our main man in midfield and seems to lack intelligence. when times are tough and people look around for some stability i doubt he has the presence to give our midfield the steel it needs.

milner looks better going wide left or even from left full back. maybe a decent option as a squaddie, but also very replaceable with someone who is younger and can do that job for much less money.

I think this is quite conservative and pretty close to what i see happening. I'd probably wouldn't bother selling Skrtel and keep him for Kolo's place but can't argue against the rest.

As others have said a new spine is required which will hopefully provide a metaphorical one as well.

I 100% agree with this actually but maybe keep Moreno as squad for now too. I don't think anyone's covered themselves in glory this season but he at least seems to play on the front foot.

Sad to say but that does not matter a jot to the Millions of people who watch it every weekend across Asia .. I think the actual home support probably dwarfs in the over all scheme of things when you look at were the club makes its money ... TV rights .. merchandising etc ... Clubs will need to totally have a rethink on matchday pricing ... there is far more things out there competing for young minds, time and their money

There's no reason why we cant keep both can and Henderson but we don't play them together. This season has shown that Klopp takes every competition seriously and we need 6 players for those two midfield positions. I think Henderson, Can, xhaka, grujic, Stewart plus one more - maybe Camacho who knows would be enough.

Henderson and can should partner different people, not each other because I think they're too similar. Hendo- xhaka and Can-Camacho or something like that.

Equally if we sign a world class winger then they can both play together as there's more creativity in the team to make up for their lack of it. There's lots of options.

Why would we have 6 central midfield options (Henderson, Can, Xhaka, Grujic, Stewart, Camacho) for 2 central positions?

Klopp likes his 4-2-3-1 system. I can't see us getting Xhaka (or Neves?) AND Camacho, although it's a possibility depending on how Stewart's role is seen in the future.

the amount of games we play and the demands on each of those players - stewart and grujic are too inexperienced to play regularly and they may only play cup games. that leaves henderson, can and the other two to fight for 2 positions.

i dont think thats too much.
