    Missing banner

I'm not usually one to start a thread but my dad's mates banner went missing at Wembley on Sunday.

They've been taking it to the game for around 20 years now, and many of you may have seen it before. We had it up in the pub in Watford before the game.

To cut a long story short, it went missing after it was given to a fellow red to take into the ground, only to be never seen again. Unfortunately these things happen, and they're really not bothered how the person who returns the banner got hold of it - they just want it back.

If anyone knows anything please PM me.

    Cheers.

****, that's a real ****ter. Worth putting something out on other forums and twitter too if you haven't already.

I'll see if I can tweet it out on the EST account later.

Contact the anfield wrap on Twitter with pictures of it and ask for a retweet for info as to its whereabouts. I've seen them help out with stuff like that before. Also the other well followed LFC accounts.

Mate your dads mate must be totally distraught at his loss. 20 years is longer than the average family pet lives to. Must be like part of the furniture now. Hope it comes home safely. Ynwa.

Yeah hopefully it turns up. If somebody has it I'm sure it will. It won't have any value to anybody else and if it's well known, the people who have it can't exactly keep bringing it to games with them!

Fairly well known that banner innit. Can't be nabbed properly surely?

A banner that's been seen at games for 20 yrs is a prize to some numpty fan with no morals.

Fingers crossed for it's safe return.
