Fantastic performance, the only thing I ll say is that the tie should be dead and buried. Dominated them, thought Lallana, Firmino and Coutinho were outstanding. Clyne and Allen brilliant too. The whole team played well. Would have liked 3 but we ll be playing on that counter in Old Trafford... ours to lose.

I reckon that's the most one sided game in these fixtures I've ever seen.

More so than the 4-1 at their place.

We were quite good tonight. Very good even. But not exceptional.

United were abject. Awful. An embarrassment. There was no real clue about them. At 1-0 I was thinking this is a great result for them. Then the second went in and I thought that 2-0 is a good result for them.

Next week will be interesting. And tense. And more tense.
