Not as much in that as I thought - looked more like a forearm push than an elbow.Originally posted by calvoboy View Posthttps://vine.co/v/iHgIxjhH0lE
There you go. Definite three match ban retrospectively in the premiership, but I thought UEFA didn't go in for retrospective punishment?

Continued from the last few games.
Lallana excellent, Can imperious, Hendo industrious and that little bit of composure and end product from Firmino.
And Allen and Origi when they came on were brilliant.
The best bit for me was we put out an attacking side and still had Benteke, Origi, Ibe and Ojo as subs to bring on.
The tie is over, we'll score at OT and they won't get 4.The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

What a great night last night.
Weather was great.
Beer was great.
Spurs result was great.
Dominating United from start to finish was great.
Scholes and Rio afterwards was better than great.
Even had a greats night sleep.
Feel great today.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

My one bug bear was the lack of that third goal. Strong performances by the lads all over the field.
I've read about United's 'shambolic' tactics but they didn't seem much different to the tactics LVG deployed last time at Anfield. They tried to stifle us and hit us on the break, it failed.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

It seems every time we play well, the response is always that the other team were poor. Sooner or later people will put it together that when we're on form, we make the opposition look poor.Originally posted by Rich View PostMy one bug bear was the lack of that third goal. I'm not too worried about the lack of 3rd goal. I was very confident going into the game as I thought we'd be too good for them and we were probably better than I expected. With the extra rest we have this weekend, I'll be a bit disappointed if we don't add to the aggregate scoreline at OT.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

That third goal would have sealed the tie, now all it takes is a mistake, a referee-based one or an individual player one, and United could be back in the game.Originally posted by RedReet View PostIt seems every time we play well, the response is always that the other team were poor. It'll be great to score early at OT though

Well from a selfish point of view, it will make the match a bit more interesting for us and hopefully motivate the players to put in another good performance.Originally posted by Rich View PostThat third goal would have sealed the tie, now all it takes is a mistake, a referee-based one or an individual player one, and United could be back in the game.
