Police have charged two of the "murderers" banner assholes.
Two men have been charged with a public order offence after a banner displaying the word 'murderers' was unfurled above a motorway ahead of Liverpool's Europa League round of 16 clash with Manchester United last month.
The controversial message was on show on the M602 which was used by many travelling Liverpool supporters en route to Old Trafford for the tie's second-leg.
The banner also featured the date of the tragic Hillsborough disaster, which caused the death of 96 people and injured 766 others in the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest in Sheffield on April 15, 1989.Comment

It's desperately sad that despite the Hillsborough panel and the FACTS now out in the open that this ignorance goes on. Calling us murderers is slanderously incorrect. Unless they think it is just banter. Absolute ****ehouses.
