The Times this morning has Sturridge as our man of the match on 8, with Firmino and Lallana on 7 (with Phil and Can). Sakho just worthy of a 6, same as Lovren...

No way did they have Sturridge as MOM, he was not doing anything except hitting the bar from a free-kick. Every attack broke down when he received the ball.

BigChief off here is a regular on Redcafe, he's probably there more then he's here. Not beyond the realms of possiblity. Although he doesn't pretend he's a manc, they all know he supports us.

I sometimes have a gander over there, they are not a happy bunch today Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see them being so miserable, they are going through a Hodgson period now, again They just loath LVG, can't see a single fan sticking up for him now.

Said it pre match and I'll say it again, Origi is a much better fit for a Klopp team than Sturridge.
Doesn't mean he's the better player or better finisher but his strength, power, work rate and pace to run behind makes the press function so much better.

We currently have Sturridge dropping short or showing feet and very little pace in Firmino, Lallana or Coutinho to make the run in behind.
Hendo and Can are more athletic but start from 10 yards deeper so very rarely able to make up the ground
