Both Sven bender and mats hummels aren't the quickest. Origi's pace can get us some joy if we look to play behind their fullbacks and into the channels. Origi also can hold the ball up and win headers for midfielders running behind.

At least we have Firmino and Sturridge on the bench and that's plenty of attacking options if need be. We must score today.

Sturridge should have started the game. He rarely goes three games without scoring. Origi is nowhere near as prolific.
      Are we winning?

Was hoping Firmino was going to make it.

If we're 0-0 with 25 minutes to go we could try and blow them away with that bench.

We can carry no passengers today and Klopp has gone for work ethic. Origi has much better hold up play too, something that could be vital if we're to get anything from tonight.

Sturridge & Firmino out of the starting line up is fairly huge. I get the Origi decision, he works hard and runs the channels but I thought Sturridge needs games to get that match sharpness.

Anyways regardless, we are facing a better side who are the favorites for this competition & we'll have to be at the top of our game.

When I can and when I have the money. I'm assuming as you're a superfan you go to every game right?

The atmosphere is ****, it's clear as day on TV. I know people that go regularly who say it's ****, opposing fans comment on the fact that Anfield is a Library. I'm not sure what you're getting at apart from trying to make me look a cunt and yourself in the process?

I'm entitled to my opinion and that is the atmosphere is poor. I will sing as a collective but there's not enough of it Anfield during premier league games. Games like tonight, completely different ball game altogether.

Sturridge is no passenger. His presence is enough to keep defenders on their toes. Hope Klopp made the right decision.

Skrtel not even on the bench. Right decision.

Origi gets the nod over Sturridge according to some Twitter snapper

edit, a bit late to the game I see.

I think we've given up on goals from strikers. It's all about making space for Phil now.

Don't sit on the fence waiting for the benefit of hindsight, what do you reckon? Did he?

my point is you can't criticise the atmosphere if you don't actually go to sample it, i don't care if people tell you what its like your not actually there to contribute so why come out with crass statements, because i go to every game doesn't make me a superfan but it does give me a better idea than people who do not go and no i'm not trying make you look a cunt your doing a good job of that yourself

I think he can be, he doesn't have the engine Origi has and can often become isolated and doesn't work hard enough when that's the case. I'm fine with the decision, can see the logic either way but Sturridge off the bench late on could be a match winner.

I'd rather see Sturridge from the off so in that basis, no. But I can see the logic of bringing on Origi.

                                Of course you can.

It's like saying that you can't criticise Benteke unless you have played centre forward for Liverpool. It's an absurd argument.
                                Oh I don't know.
