We'll see how it affects the midfield in the next few games won't we

There was a time in the first half when it looked like he took a shot in slow motion. Proper concrete boots moment

Great result, and we were very resilient. I was expecting a severe shafting, but a European away performance like that under Klopp was superb. We even created a number of chances too. Sakho putting in his beast mode performance last night.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

We were a delight to watch last night.

To go to Dortmund and not just match them, but edge the contest was impressive. Perhaps the best performance of the Klopp era so far.

It's great going toe to toe with the best in Europe once again and holding our own. It's been a long time.
                    Oh I don't know.

It's a real sign of what's to come. Klopp suggests that he doesn't see us as anywhere near the finished article or as complete a team as Dortmund so to see us compete is great. It's been a roller coaster of a season, but the potential is there for all to see.

I particularly look forward to seeing how Klopp develops Origi. From what we have seen this season he has the potential to be the complete Centre Forward. I think some of his play is reminiscent of (good) Torres.

As good a European performance as we've seen since Rafa's heyday.

if we get through to the semi final, then the league will become a second priority and all focus on the EL.......

It will be interesting to see if he drops Origi for the Stoke game and plays Sturridge......it could actually point to Origi taking over as our #1#9 (until the summer) but I wonder for the return leg will Klopp be tempted to actually play both Origi and Sturridge and just fockin go for it.

That is why I've been saying since before the Utd games that Origi should play ahead of Sturridge, nothing to do with who is the better individual but Origi offers so much more to the team and style of play.
Lovren and Sakho were excellent and Can imperious, soft as **** booking within 10 mins and not a foot wrong thereafter.
If Hendo's knee is bad then Firmino for him, Milner deeper in the 2nd leg.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

If only Lovren had planted his header & Origi had scored when he was clean through just before half time...

Still, reckon we'll beat them at home

Still think we can, and should, improve loads in the next couple of years. Ball retention at certain times last night was poor.
