Mig had saved us several times. He's been left horribly exposed so many times to be fair to him. This could be cricket scores at this stage.

Dortmund have all the tools to hurt us, pace, quick passing and intelligent players. Playing Milner in a midfield two looked risky and so it is proving as we are being over run. Allen is more natural in there and i'm surprised he isn't playing.

He should have stuck with the same team and tactics from the first game, easy to say it now.

No escaping that the decision to play all four attacking positions and leave out Allen was not appropriate in the context. I like a positive attitude as much as anyone (well I don't really, it's annoying) but that was rash.

Yep and the one criticism I mainly have of Klopp. He is predictable with his tactics and always goes for the jugular.

I think that Dortmund team has more composure than Klopp's team. This is from a team which had a transition season last year.

All of our defenders have had nightmares to be fair. Dortmund could be five or 6. Amount of space is ridiculous and we looked so nervy right from the opening whistle.

That's not been down to the defense, it's the 40 yard runs straight down the middle that killed us.

Yeah Klopp seems to really like Milner, I really thought Allen was a banker to start the game.. Same with Sturridge after his goal. Dortmund are so fragile at the back that I did think he'd go with two up top. Powder puff midfield and too much space in defence against a class side is only going to end in one way.

Yep - A Rafa-esque (or Athletico last night) fast out the blocks but control the midfield was required. We don't have the players to control the midfield sadly.

Little chance of winning now, but at least make a game of it. Beef up the midfield (Allen) and get some firepower up front (Sturridge). 0-4 is no better or worse than 0-2 in the grand scheme of things.
