haha, he wouldn't look out of place playing the flute in the Shire.

Pretty good performance last night but just a couple of points for me:

    1) There seems to be some disconnect between the players on the byline looking to cross the ball and the players inside the area. It would be ideal to eventually have a situation where there's always an option available whether it be slid across the 6 yarder or pulled back to the edge. I guess it's also partly to do with the quality of the delivery and Nat Clyne, for all his goodness, is pretty average at crossing. Moreno is hit and miss.

    2) Adam Lallana. Does so many things well but his composure in front of goal and/or finishing is generally poor imo. That early chance we had should have been a goal, whether he passed it to Firmino or took it round the keeper. I'm just a bit worried that eventually his misses will cost us points but it's definitely an area he should be getting drilled on.

Fantastic result on paper, but it should be taken into consideration that Everton were poor and there's definitely room for improvement.

Interesting comment from Klopp on Lallana, and how he is "always leading our pressing". For a while I thought Lallana was a goner this summer. Not a chance now. Good player, perfect for Klopp.

That is why I would change Lallana from started to squad player and bring someone in ,or play Origi and Sturridge instead , doesn't put his chances away.

He looks great and does some good things but the most important one he is lacking in.

            Horrible ****s.
To be fair to them (god knows why) you could see that it was mainly coming from a block of about 150-200 of them near the front of their section, so it was a sizeable minority rather than the majority. The blues in my family would still be embarrassed and disgusted by it though, never thought I'd see the day where people claiming to be Everton fans would sing those songs and not instantly be shouted down by a decent majority of others.

Horrible ****s, as you say. Still on the bright side I reckon Martinez will take them down next year if he's allowed to continue his work. They're on 41 points with 4 games to go...that's not far off a relegation battle already, and they'll lose Lukaku in the summer.

We were just fantastic. If we hadn't taken our foot off the gas after the sending off I think we'd have had 7 or 8. If only we hadn't had the Skrtel-caust at Southampton, we'd be looking back on 2-3 months of title-winning form now. We've been great for a while now apart from that 45 minutes.

I was cursing Lallana for not squaring to Firmino. Even after going 2-0 up hahaha. He made great runs, then fluffed his lines every time. Just not cute enough where it mattered. But I couldn't fault his pressing, made Milner look like a sloth and that takes some doing.

Maybe he's our Rakitic. We just need to make sure we have enough Messi's.

Just watched the highlights again and don't know if it's been pointed out yet, but the last Coutinho goal should technically go to Sturridge. Seems to get mild scuff and he even points up to celebrate

I presume that was during the ole's. They were great.

Also how do I go about re joining the Sakho fan club? I had a wobble for a while but clearly I was insane cos he's better than Maldini and Baresi

I was very impressed with Ross Barkley in the first half. If we weren't local rivals with Everton, I'd be championing him as a signing for the No.10 role.

Definitely - you can even see him laughing during the celebrations when Sturridge says he's going to claim it! Sturridge was trying to spin out of the way.
