    [PL] Newcastle (H): Build Up

So we will be resting a few for this most likely. With Origi out I'd expect Sturridge to be rested so does that mean Bobby F to play up front?

Ibe, Ojo , Allen , Kolo, Ward, Smith, Flanagan, Stewart should all be considered starters for this.

    Thoughts?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'd still start Sturridge. He needs the game time.

I don't think we'll be resting that many. We wouldn't have exerted as much energy, given Everton were sitting back for most of the second half, and there is a gap between Saturday and Thursday.

4th is on, unlikely but on. Let's **** them. The Sturridge thing is worrying, we are ****ed in the Europa if he goes down but we need some goals from him in the league aswell.

As I said, we wouldn't have exerted that much energy given Everton were sitting back for most of the second half, unlike the Dortmund game, where we put everything into it.

Our B team did just fine against Stoke & are capable of putting Rafa's rabble to the sword on Saturday. The stars can be on the bench if needed.

Unfortunately this isn't a meaningless game (for Newcastle) so I'd go with:

                Mignolet
                Clyne Kolo Sakho Smith
                Stewart Allen
                Milner Firmino Ojo
                Sturridge

Take off Sturridge, Firminho and possibly Milner for Ibe, Coutinho and Lallana. We'll be dangerous first half and dangerous with fresh legs after the subs:

                Mignolet
                Clyne Kolo Sakho Smith
                Stewart Allen
                Lallana Coutinho Ibe
                Ojo
                One tit for another.

                  ---------Ward
                  Flanno-Kolo-Sakho-Smith
                  -------Stewart
                  ----Allen-Brannagan
                  -Ojo---Firmino--Ibe

Mig, Lovren, Clyne, Moreno, Lucas, Lallana, Sturridge

Taking my little lad to this for his first ever game - sat in the Centenary.

Hope it doesn't put him off for life!

Looking forward to welcoming the legend that is Rafa back!
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I thought you were going to say Jonjo 'King of the Golf' Shelvey,

I hope I'm not cursing this game by saying that Newcastle are so **** at the moment. I know they are improving under Rafa but you can't suddenly polish a turd into a gold nugget. It takes time

Really, the point here, is that we just finish some of the umpteen chances we'll create.

Only player that needs special watch on their side is Sissoko. Actually, he wouldn't be a bad signing if available for around £5m.

Sorry Rafa but you're in for a good ****ting.
Brandt - Keita - Van Dijk - Sessegnon
