Punished for our lack of ambition against a side who could have been beaten.

Gutting. I think they were there for the taking. For all the 'great' defending they are supposed to have, I can't help thinking that with the greater attacking threat of Sturridge we could have got at least one.

It's gonna be hard now as we need to win by 2.

Sore one. They're very well organised. Imagine they'll sit deep next week and look to hit on the counter. Should be a good game. Hopefully we'll have enough to score at least 2.

I'll be annoyed if we go out of this to them.

Although Suarez is a class act.

They'll be horrible to play against with their two banks of four.

What the **** was that sub about? 4 minutes left (including AT) and he brings the striker on.

We didn't deserve to lose that. You can perhaps question our tactics in regards to going for the win, as we played it safe but we almost pulled off a really good result.

Thought our midfield worked and played really well. As did our defence until right at the end. Attack was our weak link tonight. Ibe was appalling, utter dross.

Personally I'd have given Sturridge 20 minutes to try and nick a goal that said I'm still confident of a positive result next week.

Piss right off! See that's what i mean about our lack of killer instinct! Moreno is through and takes a wild swing...when the square pass was on. Their player was clean through and was waaay more composed to square it to a team mate for a tap in. There was a similar situation in the Dortmound game where both teams had similar chances...they took the shot and got a goal...we tried to **** about with it and the chance was gone when the shot was on!
Gonna be mad anxious next week at Anfield...would have loved to go there with a lead or at least level.

They were there for the taking. Not playing a proper striker until the last 5 mins was madness

Yes, I think we'll do it, but that did make it much harder. They will defend like Mourinho's sides and try and counter. Their strongest game plan. 0-0 and they'd have had to leave their box and we'd find space and score a few.

Totally agree mate. He offered absolutely nothing and the only time I noticed he was on the pitch was when Klopp was screaming at him for giving the ball away.

That's on Jurgs that one. Shocking subs and zero attacking intent. And then to rub it in we over commit to attack so close to the end and get caught. This team have zero nous.

Main issue with tonight was the passing everytime we got over the halfway line, was absolutely awful.

It's difficult to say, but I think the manager got it wrong. We just never really looked like scoring despite dominating the game.

Should've beaten this lot and the real danger is them scoring at Anfield would mean we would need 3 goals.

I have to say, I'm surprised Klopp includes Ibe in his squads. He's nowhere near ready atm.
