First time I'm saying it but Klopp could and should have done more tonight, I backed him with his line up because I believe in him but to not use Sturridge at all? I'm really not sure about that, Firmino didn't do much tonight and in truth has been off form in general lately.

Moreno being out of position and costing a goal has happened too often. He's brain dead and needs upgrading. It's nothing new. Between himself and Mignolet they cost us with stupid errors too often.

That's very true as well. All about perception. I would have loved him to rip it in the back of rhe net and it was a very good strong run.

Very harsh. Good game plan, well played all around but fell asleep for a split second in injury time. Just bad luck really.

I didn't think so before the game started. Some of us made the comment you can't play both Coutinho and Firmino in the same side against a well organised side (on account of giving the ball away too often in dangerous positions). Bringing Ibe on for Coutinho made things 10x worse, Firmino had to go off earlier if Ibe was coming on instead of Sturridge.

We lost because we chickened out. Villareal must have been ecstatic knowing we weren't interested in an away goal. 2-1 loss would have been better than a 1-0. Now we are where we are, more Dortmund heriocs required.

Sturridge should have started instead of Firmino. This is not hindsight.
