Skrtel is a disaster and Lucas' legs have gone. That Lucas is probably our best passer of the ball in midfield tells you how far we have fallen since the days of Alonso and Gerrard.

Surely this game was an opportunity for someone to play their way into contention for a place on Thursday, but no-one has done anything to suggest they deserve it. It's been a terrible performance.

I think in games like this where you are playing an understrength team you really need to take the game to the opposition and play at a high tempo, what you can't afford to do is let the opposition control the game, find and exploit your weaknesses, and that's exactly what we have done today, and even do too often in games with a full stength side.

One thing is for sure .. Skirtel and Lovren cannot play with each out . Lovren looks like a totally different player everytime Marty plays .... his time at LFC are well and truly numbered ... a complete ****ing waste of time that game ... none of the young guys covered themselves in glory ... on to the next game

Skrtel has been a good player for us in the past, but his best days are behind him and at the moment everytime he steps on the pitch he seems to be a liability, he has to go in the summer.
