Think today's team selection told us the probable team we should expect for the final, the only "maybe" for me is Henderson.

In all honestly I hope we don't play him, think the team has looked stronger in midfield without him, as sub for the last 15-20 minutes maybe but not from the start.

I wonder if we will go with a defensive approach of Allen and Can with Milner wide for probably Firmino, or go all out and leave wee Joe on the bench(which shouldn't happen)

Have to agree with that. I love Hendo's attitude but he really isn't Liverpool captain quality.

Sevilla looked **** against Bilbao last week. Crap defence, rubbish on crosses, bad keeping. The big danger is Gameiro who's scored 27 goals this season but we kept Aubameyang quiet before so hopefully we can do it again!

Interesting that this is our actual 'end of season cup final' and yet for Sevilla this is their 'first of two end of season cup finals' as they're playing Barca just 4 days later...

Wonder if they might have a little eye on that before this one? It's certainly not '**** or bust' which is how we're seeing this final - they've got another chance at silverware a few days later...

Agreed, but the management and players will have a niggling thought in their back of their minds that they're going to get ass-whip humiliated against Barca in a few days whether they win or lose the Europa. And that's never nice regardless of any softening of the blow.

There are absolutely zero distractions for our lot. Like Nicey says, they will not have played a team like us all season. I have no doubt they'll score at least 2 or maybe more goals against us. But they'll still lose.

I would imagine that this will be their main focus, the prize (CL qualification as well as a trophy) is greater and they have more chance of beating us than beating Barcelona.
