Never mind the last 6 years, of all the trophies English league clubs can compete in we are the English record holders in the number of wins of the European Cup/CL, the UEFA Cup, the League Championship and the League Cup. Only in the FA Cup are we not the record holders (but have a creditable 7 wins).Originally posted by MorphorinoMan U - Biggest Ground, best recent trophy history, but not much of a history prior to that, was also probably the richest club before chelsea and the glazers came along
LFC - Fantastic History, 5 Euro Cups, most cup wins of any english team in the last 6 years or something like that, but still can't get the elusive Premier League title, stadiums also too small.

Speedy man, seriously
We've won more trophies, ManU have more fans and more money. What is "biggest" anyway.... and what/why does it matter exactly? And really, are you expecting to get some sort of objective debate on this one on a LFC forum?
Any chance of trying a "think before you start a new thread" policy, I'm tempted to merge all your threads tonight into one but it really would make no sense at all, even if they are all basically about the same thing - that you're depressed and you think LFC are ****e.....
Who's to say they have more fans? Really, we have just as many if not more than them. In Bangor HMV, they only have a liverpool section, no scum section! Plus that survey thing last year said we were more popular.

true mate, of course I'd like to say LFC, but I think if you asked many neutrals on the subject we wouldn't be at the top even given our glorious past. So it all depends on how you judge it doesn't.Originally posted by RedspinNever mind the last 6 years, of all the trophies English league clubs can compete in we are the English record holders in the number of wins of the European Cup/CL, the UEFA Cup, the League Championship and the League Cup.
