this is spot on, too post buzz...Tell you a story I haven't told many others (parents don't even know this at the time lest they wrap me up in cotton wool or my close mates lest they think I have a physical impediment)...
As an amateur boxer in my youth, I used to get punched a lot in the head, yeah we had the head guards on and the like and we just shook it off in the ring, there was a couple of times after a bout, within about a minute or two I started getting blurry vision or shakey legs and could not speak (form words), the worst though was not in the ring, it was at farkin touch freesbee of all things, when a guy ran into me and his shoulder made contact into the side of my face, I fell shanked it off, went for a piss at the public urinal, lost motor functions and fell down (even though I knew I was falling I couldn't stop my actions..lost consciousness for about 2 or 3 secs, doc told me it was concussion)... point I am trying to make here is that after such a hit, especially to the head or jaw area, there are times we get wiped out or our body does things like 2 or 3 seconds ahead of our brain (reaction times goes way down.. for example I knew I was going to fall, I wanted to sit but I couldn't stop myself)... I was guilty of shouting obscenities at karius as well during that match, not defending him, but I think some of you have been ott (me included) in judgement, the lad deserves another chance, prior to this he was developing real well, now it's up to him to show his mental strength ala Lucas for next season..
Come on...
