I hope not, but when Mignolet was number 1 we played Karius in the CLOriginally posted by Liverpool View Postno chance surely, Karius is number 1 for the rest of the seasonThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Klopp always wanted Karius as number 1 though, giving him the CL kept him in the loop and eased him into the team, Mignolet is getting ****ed off in the summer, no benefit bringing him back in.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI hope not, but when Mignolet was number 1 we played Karius in the CL

At 1-0 to us he made 3 big saves (one of them v good), big moments in the game to keep us ahead. Was good with the ball at his feet and outside of one flap pretty good in the air which considering JWP was whipping in some cracking deliveries is no mean feat.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostFaultless today and making good and important saves too. Really good to see.
I really hope Klopp doesn’t rotate for the Champions League - him, VVD and another CB (Matip
) for all the games they are fit for the rest of the season.
Keep it up Loris.

That was the first goal. Only a simple thing and often goes unnoticed, but it was one of the reasons we wanted him ahead of Mig.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostPlayed well, he probably needed that type of performance, his saves gave us the platform to build on. His quick release of the ball lead to a goal and he's walked away with a clean sheet.
It will probably be ignored by the media though. If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I was watching on Norwegian channel and Eric Torstvedt was really positive about Loris´s performance today and against spudsOriginally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostPlayed well, he probably needed that type of performance, his saves gave us the platform to build on. English media are literally waiting for a mistake, even when he does something good it's usually followed with a negative comment.Originally posted by Assassin View PostI was watching on Norwegian channel and Eric Torstvedt was really positive about Loris´s performance today and against spudsVive la France

It's not even really thoughts, they very much have a pre match agenda and stick to their guns, we've seen it over the years, it takes a while to shake them loose.Originally posted by Assassin View PostTypical.....English media or the thoughts of a former very decent keeper.....

Look at Máne when he got sent off for a foot up on the Citeh keeper.....50/50 challenge and it is the end of the world. Then today, the manc right back blatantly kicked a player in the head......and nothing said......
