Basically, no one can afford him as his 60k p/w wages are too high, and he wont terminate his contract as he is unlikely to get another contract anywhere close to that, as no "top" team will want him as first choice. I think he will have to drop down a league to get games.

He will still be earning more in a week than I do a month. He currently earns more a week than I do in a year, so its hard to get too worked up.

Sounds more than a bit high that. I'd suspect he's on less than half that a week.
Still too bleedin much of course, and while he's done the loan thing etc, the fact he's never moved permanently suggests not just a lack in ability but also a lack in attitude.
He's 28 now I think and should be established but seems happy to sit on his arse, collect his wages, make Baywatch videos and eat ice cream.
Exactly the sort we don't need around the club. Out of contract soon anyway hopefully.

Money's one thing but his whole childhood and adult life so far has been training to be a top goalkeeper. That's who he is.

He made two mistakes in one of the highest profile matches of a player's career and his now less than worthless.

I feel really bad for him as he was concussed, he wasn't being a div.

He is hardly less than worthless... He is still going to be earning more than 99.9% of people. And it was his decision not to take a pay cut to keep his LFC wages, which has adversely affected his career.

He may have trained to be a top keeper, but clearly did not have the mentality to stay there. If he did, he would be playing. There are better keepers and he is not entitled to that life.

One thing Karius does is highlight the uggos of the world as they will be out to knock him under the guise of saying he is a crap goalkeeper, but the good looking know that it is just another example of Beauty hate going unchecked.
