Well I disagree .. I dont remember them getting a lot of service .. I would put it more and Can and Milners doorstep ... but hey which ever way you cut it .. it just wast not good .. when it really mattered ... again .. again.. again... again with this lot

We can't have 4 players who need service from two midfielders, the likes of Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino have to get involved in the game and make things happen themselves, if that means coming deeper to collect the ball or getting stuck in the midfield battle when we are overrun then that's what they have to do rather than let the game by pass them.

Origi and Ings can't come back fast enough. Studge scored a wonder goal but their defence was pretty comfortable whenever the ball was played to him otherwise. Coutinho was great for us as a mid table club but needs dropping when we're challenging top 4 next season.

Change of keeper has happened and Moreno will be gone soon enough. Still excited by who Klopp buys in the summer in anger. At least none of our mediocre players saved themselves with a cup win. They're all on their Todds now.

Klopp is spot on just because they pulled it back to 1-1 there shouldn't have been a problem as we had another 44 minutes to take the lead. The problem was the reaction of the players and the complete collapse of belief.

After that goal we were like Rabbits caught in headlights. It was just like when Rodgers was here in that as soon as we conceded the belief went with it. There's a lot of players in that squad who will not be here next season.

This team is mentally weak as its one thing doing it at Anfield with the crowd behind you bit it's a completely different story when in a final on neutral ground.

Not a great first half in the sense that we lost possession far too easily and often. Played better for 15-20 mins and got sturridge on the ball in decent positions and it yielded a very good goal. Unlucky with 3 non penos...more likely to not be given then being awarded. Unlucky to have a disallowed goal from lovren. Unlucky to not take a second goal from a couple more half chances we made. Rest of the first half we just lost the ball or looked long too often, played slow or misplaced too many passes. Lallana & Firmino did ok but Coutinho offered nothing as much as i like him.

Early goal killed us. Zapped our confidence. But should not have been that much of a setback considering it was after just 17 seconds! Coutinho for Origi should have been our first sub. Get the ball, press them and attack them but our ball retention was poor tonight. Sevilla on the other hand looked good in tight spaces in the second half, evidenced by their quick 1/2 touch passing/movement and very well placed shot for their 2nd goal. 3rd was shocking clearing and a gift to them! Toure was by far my MOTM for us but the rest had sub 5/10 performances on the whole.

For me a large part of the problem is a 3 of Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino behind him, far too often one or more of them are anonymous, if we can get those players or players in those roles to contribute more that will make a huge difference. Also all three of them want to play in the same space in the centre which just means it's easy to defend against - tonight we were just crowded out and didn't try to stretch the game by using all the pitch - running into wide areas or beyond the striker

I thought Sevilla were very clever tonight, pumped long ball after long ball first half testing our defence, it took us a good 20 minutes to adapt and start playing.

Second half they got their break thanks to Moreno and they switched their focus to playing it more on the deck and looking for the big gaps between our midfield and defence.

Ah well. The atmosphere in the Echo Arena was boss until their third.
