Regardless of how bad we were in the 2nd half we got done over by the officials in that game good and proper. Knew that was gonna happen after about 20 seconds and confirmed it when he give a foul against Lallana for winning the ball a bit later.

I nearly lost it when that happened. Knew it was gonna be another night in Europe when you can't go near the opposition without getting a foul against you. The Spanish teams are horrible cheats but these refs just lap it up. Champions league final will be a cheatfest too.

The thing that frustrates me most is the fact that the team completely shut down in the second half, I can take losing, and I can even take losing from a winning position the thing that frustrated me was that since conceeding the equalizer at no point did we show any fight or desire to get back into the game. The first one for Firmino was a stonewall pen, the full back (Escudero?) moved his arm towards the ball and it hit him. The clown on the goal line could see it clear as day - I have no ****ing idea what they do in games.

they sucked us in and then repeatedly switched the ball to the opposite flank where they had set up an overload against our fullback/midfield and neither clyne or Moreno could cope (and they weren't well supported in defence by the players in front of them)

It's possible that we would have gone on to score more, but overall it would have only resulted in a 1-0 lead. Which we conspired to feed into the shredder anyway.

Overriding feeling today is the majority of players let down Klopp, the man who has improved them so much and given us all renewed belief.
