Shipping out this summer Liverpool Football Club 2016 – 2017 Senior Squad

We have some cracking players but too many weak ones which bring the entire squad down, winning in spite of them at times. Players I would like to see off this summer are

1. Martin Skrtel -2 Years Left – 31 – 5/6 Million Thanks for that season Marty were you bossed it in the center of a back 3, time to go now, best of Luck.
2. Mario Balotelli 2 Years Left- 25 – 6/8 Million Worse Liverpool signing ever, I thought Carroll was bad, bye
3. Andre Wisdom - 23 - 3 Years left – 2.5 Million With Clyne and Flanno ahead of him cant see him getting any kind of games with us.
4. Tiago Ilori – 23 – 2 years left – 2 Million has not developed
5. Tiexera – 23- End of Contract Release – Good luck to him
6. Moreno – 23 3 years left on contract – Don’t rate him 10 million
7. Ryan McLaughlin – Realise / Free - Don’t rate or like him
8. Adam Bogdan – 1 Million ? train wreck of a signing
9. Benteke – Good Player Just not for us – 22 – 25 Million
10. Samed Yesil – Release

Maybe

11. Lucas – 4/5 Million one year left on his contract, See him to Rafa, Love him but could be his time is up, with Grujic & Markovic coming in
12. Jordan Ibe – 6/7 million On the fence with him, shows flashes of brliiance but lacks consistency – Might be a good time to cash in

60 – 70 Million worth of footballers there which would not make a dent in our first team if they all left tomorrow.

Tell you what, if he was just a squad player I would say no way, the fact that he is the captain, does not sit well with me.

Difficult one, fit and in form he is one hell of a player, we then to win when he is in the mood. But injuries have really set him back.

They just keep letting us down .. time and time again .. whilst overall the squad looks good from a distance ... up close, something is not right.

Puts a massive dent in our "homegrown" quota tho, that's something that needs to be kept in mind.

Think we missed Henderson last night, that midfield had zero energy and was over run.

I'm wondering how much more losing our squad can take. The likes of Coutinho, Mignolet, Sakho, Sturridge, Henderson, Allen, Lucas, were involved in the 2013/14 season, and then the one where we capitulated in the FA Cup Semi-Final, involved more of the current set-up, including Lovren, Can, Moreno, Lallana, Ibe.

We keep losing when it really matters, and, although we can point to the squad looking good on paper, sometimes, it just needs ripping up due to the mentality issues running too deep.

Klopp likes to give incoming players time to settle so there may be not as many leaving as we hope, especially those who currently involved with the first team. Players like Mig, Moreno, Henderson and Lallana may not be allowed to leave this summer but could be sold next summer once this summers signing have settled.

I think Allen, Skrtel and Benteke will go along with fringe players like Ibe, Balotelli (if anyone will take him), Tex, Illori etc.

Yup. Keepers are probably Clyne, Lovren, Can, Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge, Origi, Ings and Big Jimmy Milner. Everyone else infinitely disposable (although would be good to have Lucas and Toure as much as influencing forces as anything else).

Id keep Can, Origi, Ings, Gomez, Lovren, Sakho, Clyne, Milner, Coutinho, Firminio and Sturridge. Id be sad to see those leave. But the rest I am indifferent about now I think.

Henderson, Allen, Moreno, Lallana, Benteke, Mignolet and Skrtel. They are all over paid and dont perform for us consistently enough.

I think too be fair to Henderson he was carrying an injury a lot of the season and I am being harsh on him. Same with maybe Lallana who under Klopp has been lots better. But the rest are mediocre squad filler. Filler we dont need. We need game winners.

We have a good core of younger players. Can, Lovren, Clyne, Origi, Coutinho and Firminio. Hopefully we can build around that and inject some more quality in the side.
