Thought our first 2 matches were meant to be Away? Guess not, but I could swear I'd read that somewhere!

Burnley game will be moved to Turf Moor. So our first 3 games are away, 4 of the first 5 are away, with the home game, our one and only home game until September 24th (!), being against the champions. Stitched up every year.

Yep, some complain about the start, some complain about the end.

20 teams have to play each other twice. Doesnt matter much.

Only thing that would be nice is a few soft balls early on to get a bit of a run going. But that just leaves the harder ones for longer down the line.

I think we are better off to get at them early but we might be missing players due to the Olympics though? Karius, Can, Firmino.....?

So we have asked Burnley if they could a fixture swap with us playing away to them instead...Will they be co-operative seeing that we put their nose out of joint over the tribunal fee for Danny Ings?

If we are in with a shout of anything league wise when we hit April that is a cracking run in as far as I am concerned.

There are really no easy games in the Premiership, if we want to be achieving anything, we need to be aiming to win all our games home and away regardless of who we are playing. This fixture list may help us in the transfer market I suspect

There are no easy games but I'd rather the easier games in the run in than the top teams every week.
