Thanjk you.

He was my favourite player for many many years. Pure joy. As he got older his move to centre mid was not good but I remember him for the utter moments of joy he gave us
We were so spoilt then. Rushie, Aldo, Beardsley, the King, Houghton, Nicol, Whelan, Hansen, McMahon and the rest and then the icing on the cake. Johnny Barnes. Still gives me cold shivers watching him. What an immense talent and I still think he was under-rated.
Interesting thing about Barnesy was that he hardly ever belted it. He could mind, but most of his crosses look absolutely effortless with that left foot. And what an athlete. God I wish he was 21 again.
I dunno Jaco - think Fowler's up there for me. Plus Suarez seems to have modelled his style on this goal.
Robbie was an awesome talent and one of the most instinctive finishers I have ever seen, but not even Robbie could get a buzz of excitement going through a crowd simply by receiving the ball at the half way line.
Barnes on the other hand could receive the ball almost anywhere on the pitch and there was the chance of a run on goal from that starting point. You just expected something from him pretty much every time he got the ball.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness
Video evidence that Barnes was just better than Robbie

He was ****ing incredible, so good.
It's effortless for Barnes, he was an amazing player. Reminds me of Maradona the way he used to just glide past players with ease.
My favorite ever LFC player. My brother sat next to him and his son at Anfield around 5 years ago, said he was such a lovely guy too, so normal.
Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."
Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.
