Yeah... but to be fair... he was worse than Tanner, Piechnik and Kvarme (ok, thats very harsh [emoji97] [emoji12] )... he was just surrounded by 10 world class players.

He is not the worst by a long shot...

            Only Djimi Traore!

Was it he who started the rightback curse ?

Rob Jones and Markus Babbel are probably the two best right backs from the past 20 years. Id add Arbeloa in there for his utter domination of Lion O Messi of the Thudercats... and his ability to not get injured, although he soon moved out after he heard about the curse.

Martin Kelly played out if position there. Flanagan tried swapping sides, but that did not fool the curse.

I think Finnan tried to cheat the curse, but it soon caught up with him... remember the time he went missing? Who knows what ungodly torments were inflicted upon the lad...

I seem to remember Ruddock was a bit of favourite with the supporters.

Would have been a decent player if he had kept his weight down, I think it was the boozing that did it for him

Or it could have just been that he was a fat cunt.

Ruddock was ok. He was better than Babb and Wright and Harkness, and could hit a lovely cross field ball. He was fat, but then so were half the players in the league back then... And remember Jan Molby...

Surely Wright was a much better player than Ruddock?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I dunno... he had a very shaky start. Looked better in a back 3 under Evans.

Mark Wright was our best defender for most of the 90's
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
