We so miss a controlling midfielder so much. Seems like last year so much:

First shot against = goal
Shocking defending
Suicidal passing at the back
No fluidity in midfield
Coutinho shooting every chance he gets
Poor set pieces
Sturridge arsing around the halfway line
Aimless crosses

I really hoped we'd be at it from the start and blow these away but we just seem to be flat when expectation levels go up.

That's part of his game, yet people keep banging on about him playing up top on his own. It can work, as long as we get runners beyond him. Unfortunately, our main runner is injured.
